Psalm 12:3-5

³ May Yahweh cut off all flattering lips,
The tongue that ^(A)speaks great things;
⁴ Who ^(B)have said, “With our tongue we will prevail;
Our lips are ^[a]our own; who is lord over us?”
⁵ “Because of the ^(C)devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy,
Now ^(D)I will arise,” says Yahweh; “I will ^(E)set him in the ^[b]safety for which he ^[c]longs.”
